چکیده
Simulation of wave propagation in bone has important applications, including improvements sonography-based early detection medical conditions like osteoporosis as a fast, cheap and risk-free diagnosis tool [1]. In modeling, the problem is often reduced to only mechanical effects. Recent research includes electrical magnetic effects well [2]. Here we present fully coupled two-phase approach for modeling considering mechanical, The first phase describes cortical piezoelectric [3] insulating solid. second models marrow viscoelastic conducting Electrical are via Maxwell equations. Based on energy methods mechanics, thermodynamically consistent material model established weak strong form boundary value derived. A finite element implemented example calculations shown.

A Fully Coupled Model for Electromechanics of the Heart
We present a fully coupled electromechanical model of the heart. The model integrates cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac mechanics through excitation-induced contraction and deformation-induced current. Numerical schemes based on finite element were implemented in a supercomputer. Numerical examples were presented using a thin cardiac tissue and a dog ventricle with realistic geometry. Perfo...
متن کاملFully coupled ‘‘online’’ chemistry within the WRF model
A fully coupled ‘‘online’’ Weather Research and Forecasting/Chemistry (WRF/Chem) model has been developed. The air quality component of the model is fully consistent with the meteorological component; both components use the same transport scheme (mass and scalar preserving), the same grid (horizontal and vertical components), and the same physics schemes for subgrid-scale transport. The compon...

The use of wind power is in a period of rapid growth worldwide and wind energy systems have emerged as a promising technology for utilizing offshore wind resources for the large scale generation of electricity. Drawing upon the maturity of wind turbine and floater technologies developed by the wind energy and oil and gas industries, respectively, large offshore wind energy systems have been dev...
متن کاملElectromigration induced stress analysis using fully coupled mechanical–diffusion equations with nonlinear material properties
Electromigration is a major road block in the pursuit of further miniaturized electronics. In the next generation micro and sub micro electronics current density is expected to exceed 10 A/cm. In this paper an electromigration induced strain-current density model is proposed and implemented in finite element procedure for solution of boundary/initial value electromigration problems. Numerical s...
